New Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology

If you have been reading my blog for the past year, you probably already know that I grew up poor. We did not have much money and every piece of clothing counted. I only got new clothes once a year (On Chinese New Year). I had to do my best to make sure that the few outfits I received really does last me for the entire year especially since my parents did not have the extra money to buy extra clothes for me if something happened to them. I had to be extra careful not to get tear any holes or get any stains on it. If the stains did not come out in the washer, then I had to wear the clothes until the following year when I got new clothes. I know that my mother was especially frurasted when I stained my clothes from food or doing crafts at school. She would soaked my clothes in the bath tub with soapy water for hours before hand washing them to get to get the stain out and then finally tossing them in the washer as an last attempt to get the stains removed. Although we did not have much money, my mother tried her best to make sure I looked decent and she did not like that I would have to wear stained clothes for most of the year if she did not get them out. There had been times when she just could not get the stains out at all and I really was stuck wearing stained clothing for a long time.

Looking back, I have to say that we have come a long, long way. DD is a very messy girl, but I never have to worry about stains. She comes home with glitters glued on her clothes, with dirt and green grass stain on her pants, with marker stains on her shirts and there are also often traces of what she had for lunch and snacks on her clothes. I never soaked her clothes in soapy water nor had I tried to get any stains out by washing the clothes with my hands. When DD's clothes gets stained, I just toss her clothes into the washer with some Wisk. It's that easy! Doing the laundry is definitely easier for me than it was for my mother.
