I am a believer of breast feeding and I love my Medela breast pump. It was recommended to me by the nurses at the hospital where I gave birth. My first pump was a the Medela Pump in Style and now I am the proud owner of a Medela Freestyle pump. My Medela breast pumps have served me well and I can't imagine using another brand. When I was offer to throw a Medela MommyParty I was excited. Since I am a part of a mommy group with some moms still nursing their infants and some moms with new babies on the way, I thought it was a great way to share my love of Medela products with them. I received a party kit full of fantastic Medela products to share with my mommy friends.
Here's a photo of just a few things that came in the box. Lara made Taco salad for everyone.
Here's Nancy getting food ready for the kids and moms. Here I am with baby E and you can see Julie and Jenny in the background.
Sorry I was not able to get a photo of everyone. You know how it is when you have a bunch of moms and kids getting together, it is chaotic until we all sit down to eat.
In any case, we shared a lot about our ups and downs when it came to breast feeding and dealing with our infants. Since almost all of the moms in our playgroup have multiple kids, we talked about the benefits of being able to pump so that a mom can take care of all of her kids (and also be able to leave the house once in a while without the baby). I was surprised to learn that most of the moms already use Medela or had used it in the past. We all agreed that Medela makes great breast pumps. All in all, it was nice to get tip from other moms about breast feeding as well as getting additional information from the box of party goods I received to share.
Many thanks to BSM Media and Medela for making this possible!
