You need a toy that will keep you child busy for hours while school is out? I have just the thing for you. DD received a set of Domino Race from HearthSong to review and she just loves it. She did not understand how the domino set works at first, but once we showed her how to do it, she was really excited to try it out on her own. Despite her initial problem at first (figuring how to line up the pieces), she was a quick learner and we noticed that she was getting better at it all the time. In addition, because there are so many different size wooden pieces that came with the Domino Race, she also enjoyed using the pieces as building blocks to build castles-- this was an unforeseen surprise bonus.

I thought that the pieces were really well made and I can see the Domino Race set being used by my family for years to come. The colors are bright and the pieces do not have any sharp edges that might hurt your child. Most importantly, the kids get to have fun while using and developing their critical thinking skills. We are really impressed by the quality that HearthSong was able to deliver.
