In any case, we made another trip to Disneyland (taking full advantage of our annual passes). DD decided that she really wanted to go to California Adventure. We haven't been there for a while now so I was surprise to see this. Look! It's a giant toy box. You go inside to get photos taken. Here's DD pretending to be a toy inside a toy box.
Of course, she wanted to fish.
She "caught" 2 dolphins.
Waiting in line to get on the Ferris Wheel. Did you know that the first Ferris Wheel was built in Chicago in 1893 by a man named G.W.G. Ferris just for the The Chicago World's Fair? That's why it is called the Ferris Wheel. At the time, each cart was the size of a room. (I learned this reading a book about The Chicago World's Fair). Anyhow, I thought it was really interesting :). Looking down at California Adventure from the Ferris Wheel.
DD, much to my surprise, had no reaction. She was not scared but she was also not excited. She had one of those "yeah, whatever" reaction. While we were there, I took a new stroller we are reviewing along. We got a lot of moms stopping us and asking about DD's stroller -- especially since it just got released and became available for purchase not too long ago. We are one of the few people who actually possess one right now. Want to know what it is? We got the brand new 2010 Bumbleride Flite to review. I thought taking it to Disneyland for our day trip there was the perfect way to test it out. I will tell you all about it next month so please do come back to check it out :).
