The kids had a lot of fun making the cards and they also had a blast running around the park afterwards.
Early Saturday morning, we took DD to Lowe's for its Build & Grow event. DD got to make a little garage for her toy car.
DD was more excited about playing with the car, so her daddy ended up finishing her project for her.
Loving the new garage her daddy finished up for her.
After we got home from Lowe's (& grabing some quick lunch out), we came home for more craft home. DD has been asking about playing with playdough, so I pulled out the birthday gift she got from Nancy last year -- she is finally old enough to enjoy the fancy set Nancy got for her, hooray! DD was so excited with all of the playdoughs and the different tools that came with them.
While DD played with her playdough, I started my Christmas stocking project. It took me a couple of hours to make just one because I was having technical difficulties with my sewing machine. By the time I was done with it, I was exhausted and I decided to wait to finish the other 3 stockings. Anyhow, here's it is! My very first home made Christmas stocking!
