Not sure why DD looks like she was superimposed onto the photo-- weird camera light maybe?
DD driving the little safari car.
I thought the lego pandas were adorable.
The kids waiting for the roller coaster ride (DD, James & Meimei). It turned out Meimei is scared of roller coasters, but DD and James were loving it so we let them go on it twice.
One of the things I really like about Legoland is their water areas. The kids have so much fun just running around playing with water.
The helicopter ride.
Here I am with DD. See, I was there too! LOL!
Something about this really fascinated DD. Not sure what though???
"Lego Adventure" was a bit scary for DD. She did not care of the Lego polar bear.
DD wanted to know why the old man was sleeping....
After going on all of the rides, she started thinking everything was a ride, so she tried to ride the poor lego dog too. LOL!
Meimei and DD waiting for the airplane ride.
This was what they did when they got bored. They thought it was great fun though.
The airplane ride.
A sponge bob made of legos!! DD thought she was in heaven.
Before we left Legoland, we stopped by the store to do a little shopping. DD discovered some pirate stuff and she was beyond excited. She really wants to be a pirate, can't you tell?
She was doing her little pirate pose-- I have no idea where she learned that.
Another pirate pose.
We ended up spending about 5 hours at Legoland today. The kids had a wonderful time, when we were leaving, they all said what a fun time they had. Jessica and I though the place was sort of boring though. I think we are just totally spoiled by Disneyland. We both agreed that we would not buy annual passes there and that the ticket price to enter Legoland was a ripped off. Actually I had a couple of coupons for $17 per ticket, but Legoland refused to honor the coupons because they said they would only accept it if it is from the original magazine. However, customer service did offer us tickets at 50% off, so each adult ticket came out to be $31.50. We did not think that park was worth what we paid for though-- even at 50% off. Anyhow, we were glad that the kids had fun, but we agree we will just take the kids to Disneyland next time (since we all have our annual passes there).
After a long day at Legoland, Jessica and I took the kids for some yummy Chinese food for dinner before heading home. It was a nice end to a nice day with the kids.
